Chamber Programs

The Clyde Chamber of Commerce currently offers the following programs throughout the year. Some are member specific while others are open to the public.

Member-2-Member Program – We all know that without the support of local shoppers our member businesses wouldn’t be able to sustain themselves. This program allows members to support one another by offering Chamber Member Only discounts to each other. Only Chamber Members are allowed to view the list of available discounts. Join the Chamber today to take part in this unique member benefit!

Best of Clyde Program – This program allows us to identify and reward Chamber Member employees for their excellent customer service. Chamber Members and citizens may nominate someone for this quarterly award. The recipient will receive a certificate of recognition and a lapel pin signifying their service award. To nominate an outstanding employee please e-mail their name and employers name to chamber@clydecityhall.com

Civic Organization Partnership Program – Recently begun, this program creates a partnership between several local civic organizations to help foster connectivity and collaboration. At the quarterly meeting each group discusses their future plans and information about their group. Groups communicate routinely with each other and attempt to help one another when able. To become part of this group please send an e-mail with your organizations name and a brief description of the services offered by your organization to chamber@clydecityhall.com

Professional Development – Each spring the Chamber offers a Professional Development Course at Clyde High School for juniors and seniors. This is an eight week course that includes topics such as personal banking, how to manage money, how to apply and interview for jobs, goal setting, business and personal communication, what to do and not to do in the workplace, balancing a check book, and practical advice business attire, hygiene, working with others, dinner etiquette taught at the Banquet held at the end of the Course. We bring in experts from our Member businesses to help lead the lectures and discussions on each topic. At the final Banquet students receive a Course Completion Certificate and an honor cord to wear at their high school graduation ceremony to signify their passing of the course. Sign up for the Course begins in January at the High School Counselors office. For more information please contact the Chamber by e-mailing chamber@clydecityhall.com

Job Market – As a free service to our members, our Job Market is an excellent source for listing and finding jobs within our membership. Any member that is looking to hire a new employee may e-mail the Chamber with the name of the position, details about the position, and contact information to chamber@clydecityhall.com and will get the position listed.
