Board of Directors

President  - Ada Vernon

My name is Ada Vernon. I have been a Clyde Resident for a total of 25 yrs. My grandparents lived here and I have raised my family here. I am no stranger to Clyde and our needs. I began my real estate career in 2009 as a residential/commercial agent for Dalzell Realtors then moved to Keller Williams in 2012. I am an independent agent for Keller Williams Realty, a full service real estate company in Abilene. I specialize in the Big Country working with buyers and sellers to meet their Real Estate needs.  I attended Kaplan University and Southwest Real Estate College. I am involved in several local organizations in addition to serving as President for Clyde Chamber of Commerce, I serve as Secretary for  Clyde Ecomic Development Committee,  am President of the Shalimar Girls in Clyde, and I am the founder and President of the Clean Up Clyde Committee. I also serve on the Agent Leadership Committee at Keller Williams as one of the top 5 producers in our office. I became a member of the Clyde Chamber of Commerce in 2013 serving as a Board Member. I joined the Chamber because I love to be involved and I have a vision to help make our town a greater place to live and raise families. I love seeing the process and growth of Clyde and wanted to be a part of it. I wanted to be able to educate my clients who are wanting to move here what our plans are in improving the appearances of Clyde and what Clyde has to offer. Being involved is helping me to do so.

President Elect - Cynthia Kinsey

Cynthia Kinsey, along with her husband Robert Stone, own and operate Sandstone Fine Foods.  Cynthia has extensive experience in the cooking and catering business.  In 2002, she started Yo' Momma Home Cooking in Albuquerque providing personal chef services, catering and cooking classes.  After they left Albuquerque to move to Clyde in 2005, Cynthia continued to offer cooking classes at the Methodist Church and do small catering jobs.  She continued to cook after their move from Clyde in 2008, working in both Monahans and Quanah.  Cynthia and Robert had both fallen in love with Clyde when they lived here, so when they began weighing their options for retirement, the choice was clear: Return to Clyde.  In the summer of 2012, they did just that.  After they got settled, they began looking for a way to fill their time.  In August 2013, they filed the necessary paperwork, established Sandstone Fine Foods.  Shortly thereafter, they joined the Chamber of Commerce then Cynthia became a member of the Board of Directors in the spring of 2014 and became President Elect in 2015.  Cynthia shares with everyone she comes in contact with about the great city they call their forever home.  As a transplant and small business owner she believes that she has a unique perspective to offer as a member of the Chamber of Commerce Board.  Her heart for service (she is happiest when cooking and serving people) and her devotion to the community of Clyde make her a valuable member of the Board and she looks forward to helping to make Clyde a community of renown.

Vice President- Kyra Minter

I have lived in Clyde for 21 years. For the last 16 years I have been employed by the local Dodge Dealership which is now owned by Blake Fulenwider Chrysler Dodge Jeep. I have two daughters, Ashlee Minter Stanson that graduated from Clyde High School in 2006 and Maddie Minter who is a 6th grader at Clyde Jr. High. Clyde has great schools and is a great community, which is the biggest reason that we decided to move here.

I am married to Mitch Ezell and have 1 daughter, Lauren Ezell.  I have served on the Clyde Chamber of Commerce Board for several years and have served as Treasurer  for 2 years.  I have a passion for our community and the people and businesses that we serve.

Secretary - Tracy Deel

    Board Member - Jason Boatman

Jason came to the Big Country about 9 years ago. He started Boatman Tree Service with no money for advertising or even business cards. He would park in neighborhoods and go door to door asking if they had any work that needed to be done. After several years of continuing to go door to door the business migrated into a tree, fence, lawn service, and roofing company. A few years later the company grew into Boatman Roofing and Construction, LLC. Jason is very active in the Abilene and Clyde Chamber of Commerce. We also have an A+ rating with the BBB. Jason is very happy to give back what has been so freely given to him through honest work at a fair price.
